Today’s insight journey led me to the idea that homemade gifts are often the best. This time of year there is typically substantial amounts of pressure to buy this, rent that, and acquire everything in between. Everywhere we turn there are advertisements for this or that thing that companies attempt to convince us that we have to bring home for the holidays. And the quest to successfully separate us from all of our dollars continues.
Yet, for those of us who are open to alternative gift-giving measures, making our own gifts might be the best way to go. Whether we bake cookies, make clothing items, or even craft the perfect organization system for a wayward closet, our homemade gifts carry with them an extra helping of our tender loving care. And that will keep our loved ones warmer and happier than any store bought gift, or fireplace for that matter, ever could. Happy holidays! #lovebythedrop
