Today I am thankful for nature. I may not always want to “become one with it” in a literal fashion, so to speak, but I am always glad that it is there. The myriad of different species populating a world that, in many ways, is much larger than the portion of it that we humans occupy; the wildly exotic and beautiful flora and fauna that ask for nothing in return from us but respect and appreciation – it all comes together to form a world that is simultaneously beautiful and dangerous, gentle and fierce, abundant and, to a certain extent, finite. My hope is that we will soon learn to coexist peacefully with nature while we still can, because once it’s gone, there’s no coming back. #lovebythedrop
