Today I am thankful for the ability to cry. Sometimes the day-to-day-ferris wheels-and-firecrackers of it all catches up to us, and we find ourselves and our emotions undulating between the good, the not-so-good, and everything on the road in between. In those moments, we can find ourselves overcome with the urge, the need to cry, because sometimes, a good cry is the only adequate relief.
I am not certain whether it is the emotional release, the physical release, or both that actually transforms what could potentially be your highest moment or your lowest moment into this solitary, breathable, survivable, endurable, livable moment through the shedding of tears, but whatever the case may be, the sensation of catharsis is life-changing and eye-opening, and I am so glad that it is. #lovebythedrop
