Today’s Gem of Insight #96

Today’s insight journey led me to the idea that sometimes all that it takes is a slight change of scenery to inspire a little creativity. As busy people with lives that often keep us on the go, we can easily find ourselves oscillating between the same few locations and spending time in the same environments day in and day out. And it’s no wonder that we may occasionally feel as though our creativity is hibernating, or worse, has left the building all together.

As a person who has experienced the occasional lapse in creativity, I have developed a few different techniques that can be used to draw one’s creativity out of hiding. One of the easiest and most cost-effective ways to cause one’s creativity to surface is to introduce oneself to a slight change of scenery. And whether it’s something as simple as hanging out at the beach or something a little more extravagant like spending a few days at a luxury hotel, a temporary change in environment can be just the thing to coax one’s creativity out of hiding.

So, if a loss of creativity is what you seem to be experiencing, you may want to give this technique a try. You just might find yourself experiencing a resurgence of creativity like nothing that you have ever experienced before. #lovebythedrop
