Today’s Gem of Gratitude #201

Today I am thankful for hot tubs. At times when I do not necessarily feel like swimming but still want the relaxing feel of water surrounding me, I enjoy spending time in a hot tub. The soothing feel of water gently pummeling my skin, calming my muscles, and embracing me can be just the thing that I need after a challenging day. And if I want to I can read a book, listen to music, or even talk on the telephone while relaxing my cares away.

Sure, if you spend too much time in a hot tub the skin on your fingers and toes starts to wrinkle up, practically giving the appearance of prunes. But that is a small price to pay for lasting comfort.

In addition to serving as perfect areas for mini-retreats, hot tubs are also great locales for socializing and entertaining guests. Everyone can nestle themselves into whichever spot suits them the best and enjoy the comforting feel of the water while participating in pleasant conversation.

So, whether you are in the mood to enjoy some solo-time or you are functioning as part of a group, hot tubs certainly have plenty to offer in the way of enjoyment. After all, a few bubbles are not likely to hurt anyone. #lovebythedrop
