Today I am thankful for completely functional senses. Have you ever imagined what life would be like if you could not see, touch, hear, taste, or smell? Or even if you just lacked the functionality of one of those senses?
Well, there are many people who know what that is like firsthand, yet they have found ways to move past that challenge and live fruitful, successful lives. All the while, many of us who have full use of every one of our senses often find ourselves merely coasting through life leaving as our legacy not even a single footprint or fingerprint.
And, yes, what we choose to do with our lives depends in large part on the type of person that we are, regardless of whether or not we possess fully functional senses. But it is important for us to be reminded of the fact that if wonderful people who lack functionality of some of their senses are seizing the day and leaving their positive footprints and fingerprints on this world, then there is no excuse for those of us who are not challenged in that area. And not only should we not rely on excuses, but we should appreciate our functional senses and use them to reach the world. #lovebythedrop
