Today I am thankful for electricity. Electricity is another item that we generally do not give much thought to despite the fact that we use it extensively and on a daily basis. We neglect to contemplate the fact that electricity powers so many of the devices that we use, including blow dryers, toasters, and coffee makers. Whenever we desire its assistance electricity is there, eagerly fulfilling our requests without so much as a “thank you” or an “I appreciate you” offered up to it in return. It serves us time and time again, selflessly and dependably, without a thought given to the praise that it never receives. Well, today I thank you, faithful electricity, for illuminating a life that would not be the same without you, a life that recognizes your importance, appreciates your presence, and is thankful for your continued effort. #lovebythedrop
