Today I am thankful for the maxi dress. Maxi dresses are a recent discovery of mine thanks to a fashion forward friend of mine. I admit that I am a late bloomer when it concerns this style of dress, but you know what they say, “better late than never.”
Maxi dresses are comfortable, stylish, and fairly reasonably priced. You can dress them up, dress them down, or just wear them as they are. And not only are they versatile, but they are the perfect addition to any wardrobe because they are perfect for any season. A maxi dress often has short sleeves, straps of some sort, or is strapless, which makes it a go-to outfit for summer weather. And the fact that you can wear a maxi dress with a simple jacket makes it perfect for cooler weather as well.
Why it took me so long to jump on the maxi dress bandwagon, who knows? What I do know is that now that I know the wonders of the maxi dress there’s no going back for me. #lovebythedrop
