Today I am thankful for “perfect fits,” be they in the area of relationships, cars, electronic music devices, food items, or anything else of which the mind can conceive and the heart can desire. Although there are many valuable treasures in this world that may be useful and good, many of them just might not be quite right for me, or for you, or for the next person.
For example, I have tried some of the specialty foods, clothing items, movies, and even music that my loved ones have suggested that I try, items that they have enjoyed and benefited from tremendously, and sometimes their recommendations have been right on point, and other times not so much. Through these experiences, though, I have come to realize throughout the years that what is perfect for someone else, as remarkable as the item or person may be, just might not be perfect for me. And that’s okay. The fact that something that is a “perfect fit” for someone else is not the right fit for me does not mean that there is anything wrong with me, but rather that my individuality is taking full advantage of an opportunity to make itself known.
There truly is nothing quite like having something that you want that just so happens to fit you just right – the right love interest, the right car, the right home, the right afternoon treat, etc. Whatever it is, having the version of it that is the most perfect for you is not only priceless, but it carries with it a sense of peace and comfort. Hence, the “perfect fit.” And something that is the “perfect fit” for you brings with it a joy and sense of enjoyment that is unparalleled by anything else in life. What could be better? #lovebythedrop
