Today I am thankful for my body, because it is the only one that I have. And sure, now that I am getting a little older my body does things that occasionally surprise me. But that does not change the fact that my body is a tremendous gift to me – it is uniquely mine, healthy, stylish, and resilient beyond measure. I have put my body through some tough situations (especially when I was a kid given the fact that I was a major tomboy), yet it has never given up or out on me. And for that I am eternally thankful.
Now, like most of us, there are some things that I could and should do in order to take better care of my body, and I am in the process of taking the necessary steps in order to do that. And as I continue on this wonderful journey of living life to the fullest, I will make it a point to demonstrate my gratitude daily to this magnificent body that the core of me calls home, no matter the way that it looks, feels, maneuvers, and ages, because at the end of the day I still have it and it still has me, and we make an excellent team. #lovebythedrop
